SEHAI deal to boost training
Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) has signed a major agreement with Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) to expand its training programs on the sidelines of the Japanese-Saudi Business Opportunities Forum in Tokyo.The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Japanese-Saudi Business Opportunities Forum in Tokyo.
It took place in the presence of Muhammad Al-Jasser, minister of economy and planning, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, minister of commerce and industry, Tadahiro Matsushita, senior vice minister of Ministry of Economy and Trade, Tadatsuna Koda, president of Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) and both ambassadors etc.
SEHAI and JCCME, with support from their respective governments, have agreed to the SEHAI's achievement plan for self-reliant operations of the "Japan Course".
The signatories were Badr Al-Suwailem, representative of board of trustees and executive committee member of SEHAI (as well as managing director, Modern Electronics Co. (SONY)) and Tadatsuna Koda, president of JCCME.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Fahad Al-Harbi, director of SEHAI, made a comprehensive presentation of current SEHAI activities at the 12th Saudi-Japan Business Council meeting in Tokyo.
On behalf of the Saudi delegation, co-chairman Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisy and other officials appreciated SEHAI's continuous efforts to develop their vocational training activities in Diraiya.
Fahad and Musaed Al-Otaibi, administration manager of SEHAI, also attended the signing ceremony.
They were also welcomed by Japanese companies such as Panasonic Marketing School, Daikin and Sharp and had a pleasant dialogue with the top executives of Nippon Engineering College, Hachioji, who is SEHAI's academic partner.
