BankMuscat extends CSR support to repair homes
MUSCAT -- BankMuscat , the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, has extended support to repair homes of the needy as part of its 'Tadhamun' social initiative. The objective of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative is to address the requirements of beneficiary homes which are in urgent need of repair. Twenty-five homes identified by the Ministry of Social Development benefitted from this support.
Manasik al Moosawi (pictured) from CSR Department, said: "The Tadhamun initiative is yet another example of the Bank's CSR commitment to strengthen the hands of the needy and help them join the mainstream society to contribute to development of the nation."
Manasik added: "The Tadhamun campaign was conceived as a simple process, enabling everyone to participate without any financial burden. The basic premise of the campaign was that no matter how small the donation, it can transform someone's life. The initiative succeeded in reaching out to all sections of society, thereby unleashing the culture of donation and encouraging people to generously donate to the cause."
