MD & CEO of DEWA receives us consul general
Dubai, UAE: 26 January 2012: As part of the protocols for orientation and welcoming visits organized by diplomatic and consular missions in the UAE, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority ( DEWA ) has received at his office Justin Siberell, the US Consul General in Dubai and Chahrazed Sioud, Management Officer at the US Consulate General in Dubai.

His Excellency welcomed the US Consul General in Dubai and highlighted the importance of coordination and cooperation between the UAE and USA, as both nations are working to promote and enhance mutual relations and develop economic ties. He noted that this meeting is a new opportunity to exchange experiences and expertise between US companies and DEWA in the field of energy.

Both parties reviewed bilateral relations at all levels, opportunities for cooperation, how to further improve bilateral relations between the two countries especially in the field of energy and discussed opportunities for further cooperation as the USA is one of the key strategic partners of the Emirate of Dubai.

The US Consul General in Dubai commended DEWA 's role in enhancing sustainable development in the Emirate of Dubai as an international strategic and commercial hub. He expressed his appreciation to His Excellency for his warm reception and excellent hospitality and providing him with the means to discuss a wide range of possibilities for cooperation.
