Barwa Real Estate Group Welcomes New Deputy CEO
Doha, 24 January, 2012: Barwa Real Estate Group, one of Qatar's leading international investment and real estate companies, today announced the appointment of its new Deputy CEO, Mr. Ahmad Abdulla Ali Al-Abdulla.
Commenting on the new appointment, Abdulla Abdulaziz Al Subaie, Chief Executive Officer of Barwa Real Estate Group said: "We are pleased to welcome Al-Abdulla, who brings with him years of quality experience in planning, project management, and technical affairs. We are positive that this depth of knowledge expertise will add value to our work at Barwa Real Estate Group, which continues to grow and diversify."
Al-Abdulla is a certified electrical engineer who brings with him 19 years of experience in the energy sector. He was previously employed as Chief Technical Officer at Tanween W.L.L. from 2010-2011, and Deputy CEO of Energy City Qatar (ECQ) from 2008-2010. A graduate from University of Miami, Florida, and George Washington University, Washington, DC, Al-Abdulla also has a vast amount of international work experience, including projects he planned, designed, and executed in Libya and India during his time at ECQ.
Expressing his commitment to Barwa, Al-Abdulla said, "I am proud to be a part of the Barwa Real Estate Group. Barwa represents a successful model for companies in Qatar and I am keen to further develop and build upon the creativity and excellence which is already reflected in the performance of Barwa's workforce as its new Deputy CEO."
