Dewa holds forum for projects
DUBAI -- The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority , or Dewa , has organised introductory presentations on its strategy and water projects for the UK Trade & Investment, or UKTI, mission headed by Adil Khan, the UKTI's advisor at the British Embassy in the UAE.These presentations were organised at Dewa 's headquarters in the presence of Dewa managing director and chief executive officer Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, top officials of the Dubai utility and many specialised British firms.
"I trust that this meeting will enhance the ties between Dewa and the business community of the United Kingdom, with its innovative range of technologies and services. Let this be the start of many more future milestones," Al Tayer said in the welcome address.
Following the welcome note, a number of introductory presentations were delivered starting with a presentation by Khawla Al Mehairi, vice-president for marketing and corporate communications, emphasising the importance of strategic leadership and innovation as key drivers to achieve Dewa 's vision as a recognised world-class utility, and how its leadership has played a major role in supporting the continuity of excellence in Dewa .
Al Mehairi also pointed out that Dewa is striving to achieve excellence performance results through the application a global excellence example and continuation of development initiative to instill a culture of excellence in the government sector employees.
