Crédit Agricole Egypt implements an in-house EMV cards personalization centre in cooperation with Giesecke & Devrient

Cairo, Egypt - 3 January 2011, As a customer centric bank and a pioneer in EMV card issuance, CAE has announced the relocation of its personalization centre inside the bank's premises. The centre was implemented in cooperation with Giesecke & Devrient and is projected to increase customer satisfaction by reducing the overall turnaround time required to issue debit and credit cards.

Equipped with the latest software and hardware, the new in-house EMV cards personalization centre ensures highest level of security standards. In addition, the state of the art technology allows the bank to personalize up to 3,000 cards daily and to meet card issuance requests from its branches across Egypt.

The new setup was integrated with the fully automated mailing system already installed at the bank since 2007. The setup enables Credit Agricole Egypt to automate & have full control on the complete card issuance value chain in order to meet the rising needs of its valuable customers in a timely manner.
