MD & CEO of DEWA receives delegation from ABB
Dubai, UAE - 28th December, 2011: HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority ( DEWA ), received at headquarters a delegation from ABB. The delegation included Johan De Villiers, Head of Power Systems Division - Gulf, Frank Duggan, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Markets and Mohammed Al Marzooqi, Strategic Account Manager.
His Excellency welcomed the delegation and briefed them on DEWA 's activities, performance and stages of development, as ABB is one of DEWA 's partners. During the meeting, His Excellency stressed the importance of continuous collaboration between DEWA and ABB on the energy sector, sharing expertise, and opening up broader future opportunities. His Excellency also briefed the delegation about preparations for the 14th Water, Energy, & Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2012), and opportunities available for companies specializing in energy, electricity, water and gas. WETEX is a platform for experts, specialists, and decision makers from these fields.
Johan De Villiers and the accompanying delegation praised DEWA 's global reputation, which has culminated from its significant achievements including the efficiency of its operations, delivering excellent services, successful projects, and its distinguished record of performance that has surpassed international standards.
