BMC Software Eyes Middle East for Growth
DUBAI, UAE, December 20, 2011 - BMC Software, the leader in Business Service Management (BSM), announced that it is increasing its investments in the company's Middle East (ME) operations following strong demand from local partners. This is in line with BMC's ongoing strategy to expand its presence in emerging markets globally. The announcement came as BMC's senior management shared their strategy and vision in the ME region during an event held in Dubai, UAE.The event was attended by more than 150 leading senior executives, analysts, partners and customers. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange their views on the current BSM industry and deploying innovative cloud solutions for a variety of business sectors. The agenda included a discussion by N. Ram Mohan, IT Manager (Planning & Performance) of Emirates National Oil Company , who highlighted ENOC 's transformation from largely manual processes to a seamless and integrated process with the help of BMC Software.
"Our aim was to move to an integrated, automated service management environment, which offered improved compliance with ITIL standards", said N. Today, ENOC is benefiting from complete automation of change, release, incident, problem, and knowledge management policies along with seamless integration and smooth work processes."

The sessions focused on how enterprises are benefiting from BSM platforms which enable them to automate IT Processes and in turn improve decision-making and workflows, thereby helping IT departments cut costs, risk and driving business profit.
