Kimoha Entrepreneurs Ltd inaugurates new headquarters and manufacturing facility, taking total investment in Jafza to over AED 100 million

New manufacturing facility to boost production capacity by 25%

HE Consul General of India attends opening of new 18,000 square metre facility

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 21, 2011: Kimoha Entrepreneurs Limited , a leading Printer--Converter of Paper, Self Adhesive labels & Flexibles, a member of the Al Ansari Group of companies in Oman today announced the opening of its new headquarters and manufacturing facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone ( Jafza ).

With the opening of the new 18,000 square metres facility in the South Zone of Jafza , Kimoha Entrepreneurs Limited 's cumulative investment in Jafza exceeds AED 100 million, demonstrating its long-term commitment to the Middle East and Dubai.

The opening ceremony for the new facility was attended by H.E. Consul General of India in Dubai, Mr. Sanjay Verma and officially inaugurated by Mrs. Salma Ali Saif bin Hareb, the CEO of Economic Zone World, the parent company of Jafza .

In the last two decades Kimoha has successfully evolved from a paper conversion company to a one stop solution provider for virtually every manufacturing and service industry in the region, specialized products such as baggage tags, boarding passes etc. for the aviation industry and auto ID solutions. The company was also recently named one of the top 100 SMEs in Dubai by the Department of Economic Development (DED).

The current facility will boost the company's production capacity by 25% and with further investments in new technology slated for next year, Kimoha expects production to increase by a further 25%.

The company's current facility is more then double the size of its earlier premises which housed two manufacturing facilities for paper and labels, respectively. Kimoha Entrepreneurs has invested in a sustainable design for the facility in line with the green standards of the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Department and its own ecological philosophy. The facility incorporates a host of sustainable features including energy efficient systems, optimised natural lighting, a controlled system to manage the lighting according to usage. The facility also uses an ozone-friendly refrigerant in its cooling system and reuses condensed water for irrigation purposes.

In 22 years of its operations Kimoha has seen a 40 fold growth in its premises, increasing from approximately 500 sqm in 1989 to over 20,000 sqm in 2010; a more than 75 fold increase in its direct staff strength, growing from 3 in 1988 to 226 in 2010 and a 100 fold increase in its capital assets.
