Doka expands Middle East activities with new regional hub
Dubai Jafza premises, a central service point for the Middle East
Headed by Peter Vogel, Regional Manager, Middle East, Doka's regional subsidiaries include twelve sales and service operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon and Jordan.
The new hub meets specific objectives including ensuring Doka's full-service formwork solutions, value-engineering and cost-optimized logistics are brought even closer to customers, in addition to installing and managing in Dubai globally-recognized competence centers for excellence in "high-rise", "bridges and tunnels", "energy", and "rail" construction.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Vogel said, "Dubai is geographically the most desirable location. Our base in Jebel Ali Free Zone - with proximity to both the airport and the marine cargo terminal - is ideal to sustain Doka's market leadership and ensure maximum customer benefit across the Middle East. The regional office offers top level European engineering and support to our local business units, which in turn is directly passed on to our construction partners."
