Delegation from Saudi Electricity Company visits DEWA
SEC visit garners expertise and knowledge and advanced systems applied by DEWA
The Saudi delegation was headed by Abdelrahman Mohammad Al Obaid, Head of Human Resources Organization and Planning at SEC and Saad Al Qahtani, Director of Continuous Changing and Improvement. The meeting was also attended by a number of DEWA 's senior management members including Hussain Issa Lootah, EVP-Transmission Power, Khawla Al Mehairi, VP-Marketing & Corporate Communications, Dr. Abdelelah El-Smadi, Planning Expert, Fahmi Abdeen, Senior Manager-Corporate Excellence, Edmond Walshe, Specialist-Business Re-engineering, Yousuf Mohd AlKhazraji, Acting Senior Manager-Business Re-Engineering, Najib Al Yousef, Manager-Quality Systems, Ghinwa Krayem, Assistant Manager-Quality Development and Mahmoud Al Ansari, Assistant Manager-Business Re-engineering.
His Excellency welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the importance exchanging expertise and best practices with SEC . He explained that DEWA has implemented a strategic plan to enhance and support the Government's vision through sustainable economic growth in the Emirate of Dubai and concentrate on promoting satisfaction at all levels and providing world-class services.
During the meeting, Dr. Abdelelah El-Smadi presented DEWA 's development and its significant achievements in current and future key water and electricity projects. Fahmi Abdeen showed DEWA 's achievements in the field of corporate excellence and excellence plans for the future. Najib Al Yousef outlined DEWA 's experience in applying ISO Systems since 1998 to constantly improve DEWA .
In conclusion, the visiting delegation praised the achievements and plans of DEWA , and SEC 's intention to continue its close cooperation and exchange of expertise with DEWA including corporate excellence and quality systems. The delegation also extended their appreciation and thanks for the warm hospitality and reception.
