DEWA receives a delegation from "ENOC" to share expertise in SAP System application
Dubai, UAE - October 27, 2011: A delegation from Emirates National Oil Company ( ENOC ) has visited IT Division at DEWA's Head Office with the purpose of looking at the phases of implementing the world SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which aims to standardize, automate and integrate the processes at DEWA.
The delegation was received by Engineer/ Marwan bin Haider, VP-CIO at DEWA, as well as the IT team. During the visit, there was a presentation on the various phases of the system, in addition to discussions on this quality achievement concerning the implementation of this system, which enhances the efficiency and productivity of employees.
This meeting demonstrates DEWA's interest to share expertise regularly with both national and international authorities. Furthermore, DEWA's IT Division is keen to look at the latest developments in the field of information technology to deliver better services to individuals and businesses so as to develop a workplace that can support the Government of Dubai's vision. SAP (ERP) system is a good example of these key initiatives.
DEWA is implementing the world SAP (ERP) system which aims to standardize, automate and integrate the processes at DEWA in order to provide better services to its customer, employees and business partners.
