OIB opens new branch at Mawaleh
MUSCAT -- Oman International Bank opened a new branch ( Omantel Branch) at Al Mawaleh as a part of its strategy to expand the branch network.The new branch, situated at Omantel 's new building, was opened under the auspices of Dr Amer bin Awadh al Rawas, CEO, Oman Telecommunications Company , and in the presence of Dr. Juma bin Ali bin Juma al Juma, Chairman, Oman International Bank , and a number of board directors and OIB 's management members.
The opening of the new branch confirms the advanced banking vision of the bank in expanding its services and upgrading the banking services and operations in general, as well as contributing to the development of the banking market in the Sultanate.
Ali Ben Dawood al Maimani, Assistant General Manager for retail banking said the opening of this new branch confirms the strong and distinguished relationship between Omantel as a strategic client and Oman International Bank as a bank that meets all customers business and personal needs.
He added that the presence of the branch in the main office of Omantel will facilitate the needs of banking services for the company and its employees alike.
The new branch of the bank, which carries the name of Omantel branch, shall provide all banking services such as transactions, deposits and receiving applications for credit cards, opening new accounts and other services, which makes it easier for customers and the Oman Telecommunications Company ( Omantel ) and all its employees to conduct their banking transactions in a speedy manner through the presence of highly qualified Omani cadre that manages the branch.
Opening of this Omantel branch shall increase the network of Oman International Bank 's branches up to 85 throughout the Sultanate and 5 overseas branches.
