Zebra Technologies demonstrates latest advancements in printing and asset management solutions during GITEX 2011
Company extends global industry leadership through diversification of product offerings and introduction of new Location Services unit to MENA region
Amongst the company's flagship products being featured at this year's event are an expanded portfolio of Zebra card offerings including the ZXP Series 8 retransfer card printer line for the government and banking sectors. National ID and voter registration cards, instant issuance of bank/ATM cards, and access control cards are but a few of the successful applications that Zebra executive will be showcasing at the company's stand.
As businesses demand complete visibility of their assets and supply chains, Zebra Technologies Location Services division will also be demonstrating how the company has expanded far beyond the abilities of passive RFID to include active RTLS (real-time locating systems) software and hardware; employed to locate, track, manage, and maximize the utilization of high-value assets. Zebra Technologies is seeing particular interest within the region for personnel-safety applications in the oil & gas sector and for asset-tracking solutions within the automotive industry.
