Omantel EGM to discuss merger plan
MUSCAT -- The Board of Omantel has decided to convene an Extraordinary General meeting (EGM) on October 12, 2011, to discuss the proposed merger of Oman Mobile Telecommunications Co LLC ( Oman Mobile ) with Oman Telecommunications Co SAOG ( Omantel ).
It follows the approval of the merger proposal by Oman Mobile 's Partner merger. Earlier the merger proposal was also discussed by the Board of Omantel , the telecom services provider stated in a disclosure notification to the Capital Market Authority.
