UAE based Falak Holding's subsidiary inks deal with major Chinese Group
Chinese companies showing interest in Middle East's printing industry
Dubai, UAE, September 13th, 2011: International Expo Consults (IEC), a division of UAE's multi-faceted business conglomerate - Falak Holding stated that it has signed an agreement with 'China Sign Association of Equipment Suppliers' - Shanghai (SASDA). As part of the agreement SASDA will promote IEC's 'Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East' (SGI) show among its member organisations. SASDA has over 100 high end members within the Sign and Graphic industry in China. SASDA extends support to its members in the digital printing industry in China by offering information, consultation, training, evaluation and assistance to expand into international markets.
China has recorded the highest growth rates in the print media industry worldwide and is now one of the largest markets. According to China's Press and Publication Administration, there were 101,566 printing enterprises, employing 378.31 million people by the end of 2009.
On signing this historic partnership deal Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz; Chairman of IEC stated that, "We had a strong turnout from across the GCC as well as East Africa, the Sub Continent, Europe, Asia among other geographies. This year we wanted to also reach out to the Chinese companies and wanted them to visit our show in Dubai early next year. Through this partnership with SASDA, our aim is to reach out to our target audience in China and encourage them to explore the Middle Eastern markets."
Over 296 exhibitors from 23 countries had participated in the 2011 edition of 'Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East' and the numbers are set to grow further next year. Sign and Graphics exhibition will be held from January 31- February 2, 2012 at Dubai World Trade Centre. SGI is one of the most anticipated events of the year in the region for exhibitors and visitors in the signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries.
"The quality of visitors who attended the last edition of SGI Middle East was amongst the best we have ever seen and we expect the trend to continue into 2012. SGI Middle East is the only show to receive visitors of such high calibre and as a result we continue to see year-on-year growth in both visitor and exhibitor numbers," added Mr.Falaknaz.Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East (SGI) is an established 14 year old business forum that has generated sales amounting to billions of dollars for exhibitors serving the digital printing, signage and outdoor advertising industries. The exhibitors and visitors can interact with sign makers, print and production manufacturers, architects, media agencies, real-estate developers, brand and image consultants among others. This forum will also include seminars and workshops conducted by industry experts.
