Ted Baker unveils sparkling new store in Dubai's Deira City Centre
Fit for a King or Queen
With Dubai famed for its history of pearl fisheries and more recently for its jewellery trade, the store takes inspiration from the precious pearls once found at the depths of the ocean and the sparkling diamonds of Dubai's modern jewellery boutiques. Combining a hint of influence from London, Ted's abode and home of the Crown Jewels housed in the Tower of London, Ted perfectly fuses the two themes to create a luxurious fashionistas paradise, which is quite simply, fit for a King or Queen.
The stunning diamond detailing subtly guides the shopper around the store with the space separated by translucent grids and timber walnut flooring laid in a diamond pattern. Silk and brass clad diamond shapes and walnut burl paneling with inset pearl classical detailing adorn the two main feature walls.
A pearlised glass globe light, draped with bracelet style chains featuring London-inspired charms, provides a glittering focal point, whilst textured sparkling wallpapers, pearlised paint finishes and mirrored surfaces add further lustre.
The fitting rooms provide the final regal touch with bespoke wallpaper featuring portraits of Kings and Queens, mirrored doors and plush purple carpeting create a luxe space perfect for selecting and sampling Ted's AW11 collections.
Steeped in heritage, texture and colour Ted's AW11 collections draw upon the countryside's autumnal shades to create a dramatic palette that's wild at heart.
