Parzel Strides Forward with Zip Express Acquisition
Dubai, United Arab Emirates; July 24th, 2011: Today, Parzel announced the completion of its acquisition of Zip Express & Logistics LLC, one of the fastest growing courier and logistics company in the UAE.

Zip Express has been in operation within the UAE, providing a range of domestic and international delivery services including next day documents and parcel delivery; prepaid delivery services; Road Express for delivery across the GCC and Import Express shipping to 120 countries. The acquisition by Parzel, the new delivery service in the UAE, will create a new and dynamic logistics partnership for the region under the Parzel brand name.

Mr. Al-Qahash, Managing Director at Parzel said, "This acquisition presents a significant moment in our development within the UAE. Zip Express have devleoped a very successful platform and we are very keen to harness their expertise and make Parzel even stronger as we grow."

Parzel recently launched their delivery service within the UAE, deploying three automated Parzel booths in Dubai International Financial Centre, Marina Mall and Marina Walk, followed closely by a fourth booth in Times Square Dubai. Parzel automated solutions are the first of their kind in the UAE providing the logistics industry with greater levels of efficiency, advanced technology and increased flexibility. The Parzel solution gives logistics companies a real alternative that greatly improves customer satisfaction levels. In addition, it gives individuals the freedom to drop off and collect parcels at their convenience, from a nearby automated station of their choice, when it suits them.

Mr. Al-Qahash, Managing Director at Parzel added, "We have a very clear and structured plan for the rest of 2011 and this partnership with Zip Express is part of our long term strategy to redefince the logistics space within the UAE and beyond."

Parzel is an automated service that allows you to drop off or pick up parcels, documents and other items at an easy to access Parzel location of your choice. Automated booths are available for self-service parcel collection and storage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parzel delivers services via touch screen kiosks with separate compartments for each parcel which can also be used as automated lockers as well. Compartments are allocated per transaction based on specific size and weight requirements. The choice of which Parzel station location to use is entirely up to the customer which greatly enhances expediency.

The Parzel solution creates efficiency through technology. By aligning high-end infrastructure with best of breed automating systems, Parzel aims to take away the stresses and strains associated with attempting to schedule parcel collection and delivery times between the sending and receiving parties.
