Construction on Al Ain's Wahat Hili Mall to start in Q3
ABU DHABI - The tendering process has begun to build the Wahat Hilli Mall in Al Ain and a contract is expected to be awarded within three months."The tendering process has been set in motion," Wahat Hili Mall manager Mohamad El Sabawi said.
He expected construction work to commence before the end of the third quarter of this year.
Announcements will be made to keep tenants, clients and the community in the loop with the anticipated launch scheduled for the first quarter of 2013. "We are currently under the process of awarding a contractor," El Sabawi added.
The complex is strategically positioned in Hili district neighbouring the largest residential complex in Al Ain, and is the closest mall to the tourist district that includes Hili Fun City and Hili Archaeological Park. Unfolding across 6.5 hectares of prime real estate, with a gross leasable area of over 30,000 square metres, the three-storey Wahat Hili Mall will house 160 retail outlets with an established range of services.
.The modern day retail development will become a hub for residents in surrounding communities with its comprehensive mix of retail outlets, which include shopping, dining, entertainment and a range of services to ensure, above all, convenience for every visitor.
Built in conjunction with Hili Rayhaan Hotel run by Rotana, the project is poised to attract a bulk of all visitors to the garden city.
