Samsung launches great value, high speed CLP-775ND color laser printer

Environmentally friendly solution provides fast, hassle-free business printing
BEIRUT, Lebanon - Samsung Electronics Levant, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, unveiled a new A4 color laser printer, CLP-775ND, designed for high volume, business color printing. The CLP-775ND is equipped with a powerful 600MHz dual core CPU, so it provides the ultimate throughput performance at speeds of up to 33ppm (A4). Its superior processing power, anti-jam technology and enhanced connectivity ensure that the CLP-775ND is a cost-effective solution for businesses looking for a high-quality, trouble-free printer.

Designed for corporate users, greater efficiency and less hassle are central to the performance of the CLP-775ND. Samsung has incorporated a powerful 600MHz dual core processor in order to deliver the best possible data processing speed - printing up to 33ppm (A4) taking only 11 seconds to process first page of each job through to output, including even large color documents. Its improved anti-jam technology also reduces the chance of paper jams by 50% from previous models.

The CLP-775ND comes with a 1GB Ethernet network connection as standard, allowing the printer to be conveniently connected to a high-speed, high-volume network. So jobs can be sent to the printer swiftly and efficiently and it effortlessly manages the exacting demands of even the busiest workgroups.

Even greater efficiency is enabled by the printer's extensive paper capacity of 1,600 sheets across three trays; so much less time is wasted on refills. The CLP-775ND can also handle thicker and higher quality paper, offering a wider range of printing options and enabling the creation of much richer and more professional results.

The CLP-775ND is both environmentally and economically friendly, requiring 22% less power than previous products (an average of 3.9KW/h on a weekly basis) - giving one of the lowest operational costs available today. It also uses less power when in standby mode, providing even more savings, which may be especially significant for small-to-medium businesses where the printer is not in constant use.

It's simple-to-use productivity and efficiency-boosting features include a built-in duplex mechanism, which provides a 2-up mode and skips blank pages, so less toner is used. In addition, the CLP-775ND is extremely quiet (less than 54 dBA) and very simple to use and maintain, so it helps to create a pleasant and positive working environment.

Samsung has developed a unique ReCP (Rendering Engine for Clean Page) technology to improve the overall quality and vibrancy of color printing. It automatically sharpens the focus of both graphics and text, while solid objects are overlapped to eliminate white gaps. Edges are intelligently smoothed using Samsung 's Edge Resolution Enhancement (EdgeRes), which adds dots along the edges of characters so that they appear much sharper.
