Overwhelming Demand Prompts Change of Venue
Bahrain Summer Festival moves "The Dhol Foundation" and "Georgian Legend - Samaia's Little Virtuosos" shows to Exhibition Center
The relocated shows include the thumping drum beats of "The Dhol Foundation", whose tracks were featured in Hollywood blockbusters "Gangs of New York" and "The Incredible Hulk", (July 18th at 8 pm), and "Georgian Legend - Samaia's Little Virtuosos" (July 25 - 26 at 7 pm) performed by a group of talented 7 - 14 year olds who will present the fast-paced Georgian folk dance that make the Caucasus region famous world round.
The public is encouraged to call the festival's hotline (+973 8000 8089) from 8 am to 10 pm for any inquiries regarding this announcement.
"Nakhool Tent", located next to Arad Fort, will be open as usual to the public from 5:00 - 10:00 pm, offering free educational and entertaining cultural activities. The Ministry of Culture also coordinated with various hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and public theme parks to offer a wide variety of promotional packages.

About "Bahrain Summer"
Held under the slogan "A Victory of Joy", Bahrain Summer 2011 is the third edition of this annual event which aims to bring joy and happiness to all Bahraini families, residents and tourists. The event caters to kids and adults alike through musical performances, cultural nights as well as educational and artistic events.
Bahrain Summer will host a variety of exciting cultural shows including the Merchants of Bollywood, Fang Yangs "Gazillion Bubble Show" and Barney's Space Adventure to name a few.
The festival is represented by its mascot "Nakhool", a character symbolizing Bahrain's tradition, culture and Dilmunic history. "Nakhool" will be hosting a tent that features a variety of cultural, entertainment, and educational activities every day for the duration of the festival.
