Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi launches its new Customer Online Portal
In line with its continued efforts to provide the highest levels of service, Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) launched this week, an innovative new Customer Online Portal dedicated to its customers.A customized login section will provide Kizad customers with access to some 300 services, such as: Concluding lease agreements, company licensing and registration, visa and residency services, building permits, emirates ID cards, labor cards, leasing pre-built warehouses, workforce accommodation and attestation and public notary services.
The portal will also allow Kizad customers to track the status of all their applications and service requests via a secure, efficient and effective communications channel. This is the first phase of further online services that will be launched over the coming months.
Kizad, which was launched late last year by the Abu Dhabi Ports Company ( ADPC ), covers 417 sq/kms and is located at Taweelah, half way between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It offers free zone and non-free zone options to potential tenants and aims to attract investors to industrial clusters defined in line with the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030. The clusters include Aluminium, Steel, Engineered Metal Products, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Paper, Print and Packaging, Food and Trade and Logistics. Kizad currently has one visitor centre located on the third floor of the ADPC building in Abu Dhabi, and is planning to open a second larger visitor centre onsite at Taweelah later this year.
