Juniper Networks Makes Key Appointments To Operations Team
Names Bask Iyer Chief Information Officer and Martin J. Garvin Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations

"Bask is a seasoned leader with deep knowledge and experience in diverse industries, which will benefit Juniper as we continue to execute our vision for the new network and extend our business into new market segments. Marty's wealth of procurement, operations and supply chain management experience will play a vital role in the company's continued growth and success."
Iyer will be responsible for protecting all of Juniper Networks' critical information, intellectual property and physical resources, as well as implementing a strategic plan that ensures all information technology systems are aligned to support the company's multi-year growth agenda and operational objectives. Garvin will be responsible for driving the company's manufacturing and supply chain strategy, and continuing to advance processes, systems and tools to ensure predictable scalable delivery of quality products to Juniper customers worldwide. Iyer and Garvin will both report directly to Rose.
Garvin brings nearly 30 years of procurement, operations and supply chain management experience to Juniper Networks. Recently, he spent 11 years at
Dell
, first as vice president of global procurement and then as senior vice president and chief procurement officer. Garvin also managed all outsourced manufacturing through ODM and EMS providers and was accountable for cost, quality, capacity planning and fulfillment. Before
Dell
, he held leadership positions at NetEdge Systems, Logitech, Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard. Garvin earned an MBA and a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from San Jose State University.
