GUtech will participate in the Higher Education Exhibition in Muscat - New BEng and MSc programmes at GUtech
MUSCAT - The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) will participate in the upcoming Higher Education Exhibition to be held next week from Sunday, 17th to Tuesday, 19th of July at the Oman International Exhibition Center in Seeb. "We are looking forward to participating in this year's Higher Education Exhibition and meeting with the general public. This year GUtech has extended its portfolio of programmes. In October, we will start with part-time Master of Science programmes in Integrated Urban Planning and in Petroleum Geoscience," said Professor Dr. Barbara Stauble, Deputy-Rector for Academic Affairs at GUtech.
GUtech is affiliated with RWTH Aachen University in Germany and offers international higher education right here in Muscat. The language of tuition is English. All of GUtech's Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes are internationally accredited and were designed by professors of RWTH Aachen University.
Currently the university offers four BSc programmes: Applied Geosciences, Applied Information Technology, Sustainable Tourism and Regional Development, Urban Planning and Architectural Design. Moreover, GUtech has two Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) programmes in Mechanical Engineering and in Process Engineering. All BSc and BEng programmes are full-time programmes, MSc programmes are part-time.
Students interested in registering for one of GUtech's programmes are welcome to visit the GUtech stand during the higher education exhibition in Seeb. In addition, please visit the university's website for further details www.gutech.edu.om or come to the Airport Campus in Athaiba, located beside the highway. The student recruitment office is open from 8 am to 8 pm.
