Etihad completes 5-year of Kuwait ops
ABU DHABI - Etihad Airways this week celebrates five years of operations to Kuwait.Etihad began flying between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait City on July 2006 with six flights a week. Currently it flies triple daily. The increase in frequency reflects the importance and rapid development of the Kuwait market.
"Kuwait is a key market for Etihad and has always been an important strategic destination for the airline. Kuwait is very popular for both intra-regional and global business travellers. We anticipate continued strong demand for our Kuwait services from within the GCC, as well as from guests leveraging the convenient connections to and from the Far East, Europe and America," James Hogan, Etihad Airways ' Chief Executive Officer said.
Etihad 's 21 services per week offer seamless connections for our long haul and ultra long haul destinations such as Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, London, Geneva, Milan, and Munich.
