Qatar: First transport and logistics exhibition to open on Oct 17

DOHA: Qatar's first and only international exhibition for Transport and Logistics, 'Trans4', will be held at the Doha Exhibition Centre from October 17 to 19.

Held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani, Trans4 expo features the four sectors of activity covering the complete chain: Railways, Shipping, Freight and Logistics.

Organised by Al Baida Group, the expo will showcase latest products, technologies and solutions in Transport and Logistics sector. The exhibition is held concurrently with "The GCC Transport & Railways conference", taking place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha.

Eng Ali Al Misnad, Chairman of Al Baida Group, said that Trans4 exhibition has a unique strategic importance as it will be the key business platform for companies wanting to invest and put up a world-class infrastructure and facilities for Transportation and Logistics in the fastest growing economy in the world.

"The transport and logistics sector is steadily growing due to the government initiatives across the sector and sustained infrastructure investments. Logistics and Transport sector is involved in most aspects of our business and social lives. It is an important logistics chain. We are pleased to be the first to introduce this opportunity in Qatar to showcase latest technologies and products in such important sector," said Eng Al Misnad.

The Expo will also give visitors a closer look at this vital economic chain in Transport and Logistics, i.e. Railways, Shipping, Freight, at a single location by some of the world's most well-known names in Transport and Logistics," he added.
