HP Unveils Deskjet Range in Cairo

Printers set new benchmarks for value for the home or small office market
Cairo, Egypt, June 27^th, 2011 - HP Middle East today revealed multiple innovations across its printing portfolio, including the industry-first ePrint technology which allows you to print from anywhere using your smart phone.

Leading the new line up is the affordable HP DeskJet 3050a. The multi-function e-All-in-One ensures that all printing needs are catered for, without breaking the bank. This easy to use unit is web-connected, and allows users to print wirelessly, scan and copy while also incorporating HP 's new ePrint technology. HP ePrint allows you to print from anywhere by sending an email to the printer's own email address, either from another computer or a smart phone.

Just email your photo, document or concert tickets from your smart phone or tablet PC directly to your ePrint-enabled HP printer for easy access to your content--no need to install any drivers. You can even email a photo to a family member's HP e-printer and it will print directly--so they can share the moment without spending time downloading the photos. The DeskJet 3050a eAiO will be available from July for 469 LE.

For everyday family printing, standard ink cartridges are priced very affordably--starting at 55 LE--so you can be confident in getting the quality and reliability of Original HP supplies at a price that won't hurt your wallet. For small businesses or those who print more frequently, optional high-capacity Original HP XL ink cartridges offer 50 per cent lower cost-per-page than Standard HP ink cartridges. No need to bother using messy and unreliable refill options when genuine HP supplies give such an exceptional value.

The Deskjet range is also joined by two new entry level models; the Deskjet 2050a which is a stylish all-in-one colour printer, copier and scanner with a recommended retail price of 329 LE, and the most affordable all-in-one from HP , the Deskjet 1050a, which retails at a budget conscious 289 LE. These models use the same ink cartridges as the Deskjet 3050a, so customers can be confident in getting affordable, reliable printing no matter which model they choose.
