Samsung Launches New Monochrome Laser Printer: The ML-1670

Samsung 's ultra-compact ML-1670 offer simple printing solutions
Middle East- June 25, 2011 - Samsung Electronics , a leading name in the world of consumer electronics and information technology, today announced the launch of the new compact laser printer - the ML-1670. The new model is more compact compared to previous model and ideal for personal, home office and small office users. It features a streamlined design with a stylish and glossy finish.

In addition to the compact and elegant design which requires a very small space on your desk, the ML-1670enhances the daily user experience by integrating the unique one-touch print screen function onto the printer's control panel. The print screen button provides users with a quick and easy way to print exactly what they see on their PC screen at the touch of a button.

The new models also include Samsung 's AnyWeb Print software that allows users enhanced web-printing capabilities regardless of the browser interface such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or the Mac OS Safari. The software enables users to print just the information they really need rather than printing the whole page, thereby saving both time and resources.

In addition, the new printers are environmentally friendly and are equipped with a power button right on the front panel, whereby users can switch to an energy-saving standby mode. To print again, just re-touch the switch that enables hassle free and speedy printing.

The ML-1670printer is engineered to whisper, generating a noise level of less than 49 dBA that is less than the hum of a running refrigerator and effectively reduces surrounding noises and lets users focus on their work.

The ML-1670 is now upgraded to a 300MHz CPU, providing higher performance at a speed of 16 pages per minute (PPM) (A4). It features a first page output time (FPOT) of a mere 8.5 seconds and an impressive 1200x1200 dpi print resolution, filling both the need for speed and quality. Additionally it supports USB 2.0 as interface that is capable of accepting print data at the speed of up to 480 mbps from the PC connected to it.
