Manama, Bahrain: 15 June 2011: A team of five highly experienced legal experts recently delivered a presentation based on the legal aspects of business at an exclusive ladies' gathering for Members and guests at the Capital Club, Bahrain's premier private business venue. The presentation provided a unique opportunity for Members to interact with highly experienced legal professionals to obtain a clear understanding of updates and keep abreast of relevant changes in legislation.

The presenters were Nicola Green from Charles Russell LLP, Joanne Emerson-Taqi from Norton Rose, and Sallie Bowtell, Deborah Howard, and Paula Boast from Trowers and Hamlins. The presenters, with their wealth of legal expertise, updated the Members on several significant laws pertaining to property and business, including mergers and acquisitions.

The exclusive ladies' function was hosted by the Capital Club in partnership with the Bahrain Chapter of Bizladies and was sponsored by British Airways and Gulf Brands International. The Capital Club organises such events as part of its series of programs that promote professional development and support society, women, cultural heritage and local and international art.

In addition, the Club proactively organises many social and business gatherings, to facilitate networking and foster camaraderie amongst Members. Membership is by invitation only with various packages for Bahrainis and expatriates.
