Home Entertainment is Redefined with the Launch of Samsung's Smart TVs
Samsung brings TVs of the future to EgyptCairo, Egypt - Today, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a market leader in consumer electronics, launched the highly anticipated 2011 Samsung SMART TV lineup, during a unique consumer event that took place in Cairo's popular Citystars Mall. The launch which will take place over three days, from June 2nd to June 4th, will offer consumers a chance to interact and learn about the groundbreaking features and technology that Samsung's Smart TVs will offer.
Creating the ultimate home entertainment experience, the Smart TV combines smart content and features with 3D viewing. Offering an immersive viewing experience the new TV is web-connected and allows users to easily search and access movies and TV shows, in addition to browsing the web, exploring Samsung's Apps and so much more.
"Home entertainment is about so much more than watching programs or movies on the big screen; it's about creating an entire experience and the Smart TV does just that," said Mr. Duke Park, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Egypt. "With our new Total 3D Solution, viewers can immerse themselves even deeper in to the 3D experience, browse the web, chat with friends and family on Facebook or Twitter, and even connect to the TV via some mobile phones or any other smart devices."
To ensure the ultimate immersive viewing experience, Samsung's Smart TV line-up will include a range of LED, LCD and PDP TVs. The D8000 LED Smart TV with 3D capabilities has a barely visible 5 mm brushed metal bezel, a fine line that slightly frames the rich content on the screen and enhances the TV's light form factor. The new series also has all the features of Samsung's Social Hub that allow users to access all types of online content from one location thereby making it easier for viewers to engage their passions by accessing Web-delivered content on their TV screens, in addition to a variety of applications from Samsungs Apps, the world's first HDTV-based apps store. The entire range also feature Samsung's enhanced DLNA feature; "All Share", providing a convenient wireless network with allows users to share HD quality content, including pictures, videos and music, amongst all Samsung and other DLNA compatible digital devices. Additionally, to ensure Egyptians have wider access to Samsung's range of products, and as part of their aim to expand operations within Egypt, Samsung has secured 2 new business distributors; Raya and E-Tronics.
