Omantel launches multiple-device mobile application
Ensuring best in class service for customers
Muscat 4th June 2011: Omantel - the Sultanate's leading integrated telecom services provider - announced yesterday the launch of its Mobile Device Self-care application. The first of its kind in the Sultanate, this application is compatible with the four most popular smart devices platforms (BlackBerry, Android, Nokia & Apple iPhone & iPad).
This unique & easy to use application will enable Omantel customers to register online, view their account details, bills, add new account, top up self and friends Hayyak lines and more importantly pay their bills in a highly secured way from anywhere at any time in a very simple way with few touches & slides! The application will have all the features those are present in the Omantel Online Services portal (https://www.omantel.om).
Commenting on the launch of this new application, Saleem Abdullatiff, GM Marketing at Omantel 's Consumer Business Unit, said "We are pleased to be the first operator in the Sultanate to offer this multiple device self-care application. This initiative comes in-line with the company's continuous efforts to provide best in class services for our customers".
This application is totally free and can be downloaded from Omantel portal (http://www.omantel.om/apps). The application has been designed in such a way that it will enable Omantel and Oman Mobile customers to enjoy the high definition display experience which is extremely user friendly. This bilingual application, with interfaces in both Arabic & English as per user's choice, will also provide information on Omantel Products & Services, promotions, news & customer care contacts. Through this application, Omantel customers will be able to send their queries/feedback and lodge their complaints which will be dealt with instantly by Omantel customer service team.
