Affordable houses high in demand in central Muscat
MUSCAT -- Better Homes has reported a shift in the behaviours of buyers over recent months, as increasing numbers of young professional Omanis and GCC residents demand greater opportunities to purchase high quality, modern and affordable homes in central locations in and around Muscat.Oman has a rising population of young professionals looking for their first step onto the property ladder, seeking comfortable and modern homes, close to their families and work, with all of the facilities and amenities that make life easy and enjoyable for themselves and their families.
Glenn Meek, General Manager for Better Homes Oman said: "We have noticed a huge difference in the type of homes buyers are looking to invest in, particularly over the past few months.
It is apparent that more and more young professionals are looking to invest in their first home, but have found it difficult in the past as developers increasingly would only be announcing plans for upscale Integrated Tourism Projects with homes that were out of their price range.
This does not mean that there is no a demand for housing offering flexible living spaces, quality leisure facilities and amenities, and adequate parking. Within the next few days we will be sharing with our customers a new, luxury and modern project perfect for those looking for all of this, in a central location and within minutes of the new southern expressway and 23rd July Street."
The new affordable homes will start from as little as RO 37,995 for a one bedroom apartment, many of which will boast fabulous views across the Muscat skyline. Homeowners will enjoy the premium facilities available including a private fitness centre and two swimming pools.
