Deutsche Bank Launches Annual MBA Scholarship at the American University of Beirut
The Deutsche Bank Middle East Foundation announced today the launch of its first ever postgraduate scholarship in the Middle East.The scholarship will be offered on an annual basis at the American University of Beirut 's ( AUB ) Olayan School of Business (OSB), beginning as early as September of this year and covering the full two-year MBA tuition.
The scholarship is open to all interested postgraduate students from across the Middle East and North Africa region, who satisfy the AUB 's MBA admission criteria, and who are both financially in need and academically outstanding.
George K.Najjar, Dean of the Olayan School of Business at AUB , said:" The Olayan School of Business at AUB is proud to have been selected by Deutsche Bank for its first-ever MBA scholarship in the region, and we are certain that this much appreciated generosity will offer the opportunity for a young deserving person to get a professional head-start by acquiring a highly coveted degree."
Potential applicants should apply directly to the AUB 's admission's office. Upon completion of the MBA, the candidate will be considered for an internship at Deutsche Bank .
Established in 2008, The Deutsche Bank Middle East Foundation is the latest initiative to join the family of the Bank's foundations in Asia, Africa and the Americas. In addition, Deutsche Bank has active CSR programs across Europe and the UK.
The Deutsche Bank Middle East Foundation focuses on funding investments in arts, education, community development, sustainability, and volunteering in the Middle East North Africa region.
