UAE: Tameer's Dh1.7b Elite Residence nearing completion

By Staff Report DUBAI - Tameer Holding Investment LLC announced the completion of the superstructure on its 91-storey Elite Residence project, set to claim landmark status in Dubai Marina when finished.

It soars to a height of 355 metres, with the tower set to reach a final height of 381 metres.

The Dh1.7 billion project is on track to be completed later this year, with construction on the tower having already reached the final floor. In order to accomplish this, Elite Residence has consumed 85,000 cubic metres of concrete and 21,000 tonnes of steel. Construction during its peak progressed at a speed of up to six floors per month.

The Elite Residence Tower has a unique design which combines classic architecture with a modern layout and stylish finishes. "When complete, the tower will position it as one of the tallest residential buildings in Dubai and the world, and it will undoubtedly be one of the most sought after residential properties in the area," Tameer President Federico Tauber said.

The 91-storey tower includes four basements, a gymnasium, three swimming pools, recreation areas, sauna and steam rooms, jacuzzis, a children's play area, a multi-function room, a luxury reception and 24-hour security. The project provides a mixture of spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, and three- and four-bedroom penthouses, with a total of 697 apartments capable of housing 1,500 residents.
