"Sharjah Islamic Bank" wins prestigious award
Sharjah Islamic Bank ( SIB ) was named "Network Champion's of the Year 2011" after winning the prestigious "Network World Middle East Award" for the Year 2011. The award was presented at a glittering ceremony at the Address Hotel in Dubai Marina last week; it celebrated innovative networking projects and recognized end-users for their contribution to business, and vendors for their product leadership.

Commenting on the occasion, Chief Information Officer of SIB , Mr. Gautam Sinha said: "Our success is simply based on the quality of our services, and this award will add to the continuous achievements of the bank in recent years and reassure the leading status of Sharjah Islamic Bank in the banking sector on Middle East level. The award witnessed the participation of more than 200 enterprises across the Middle East region and only the Top 10 enterprises were selected. This in fact reflects our commitment in SIB to provide our clients, associates and shareholders with the best services as per international standards."

He further clarified that SIB was ranked one among the Top 10 enterprise in the region for showcasing the various successful projects executed in the IT - Network field and grabbed the award under BEST NETWORK CONNECTIVITY OF THE YEAR 2011 to be named as Network Champion's of the Year 2011 for providing stable and secure network connection across enterprise level.

Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide commercial banking services to firms and individuals.
