Dubai Dialogue set to build on success
By Staff Report DUBAI - The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry 's Centre for Responsible Business, or CRB, has issued a Conference Proceedings Paper for the Dubai Dialogue: Good Governance Matters 2010 conference.The paper outlines the key messages from the conference including the principals of good governance, the link between good governance and economic performance, and the importance of transparency in today's modern business climate.
Case studies from organisations such as Dubai's Real Estate Regulatory Agency ( RERA ), Nasdaq Dubai , HSBC and DP World are also included in the paper. The paper includes contributions from Ministry of Economy Director-General Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Dubai Chamber Director General Hamad Buamim and RERA Director-General Marwan bin Ghalita, as well as a number of private sector executives.
"This paper gives a thorough and detailed overview of our successful Dubai Dialogue: Good Governance Matters 2010 conference. The conference was unique because it brought together perspectives from both the public and private sectors, and we have tried to recreate that here in print," said Dr Belaid Rettab, Director of Data Management and Business Research Department at the Dubai Chamber .
Dubai Dialogue has become the largest corporate social responsibility conference in the UAE, attracting more than 300 participants. The next forum, called Dubai Dialogue: Responsible Recovery, will be held in Dubai on Wednesday.
