Al Ain Hospital hosts International Radiology Conference
Conference features experts from around the world and U A E"The theme of this conference, which will be the first International Radiology Conference to be hosted in Al Ain, is "Challenges in Imaging," and we are privileged to host some top international and U A E experts in the field, " explained Mr. George Jepson, C E O of Al Ain Hospital.
"This conference focuses on the latest trends and developments in the field of Abdominal and Gastrointestinal Imaging, Breast Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology and Thoracic Imaging," added Prof. Dr. Gerhard Schwab, Medical Director of Al Ain Hospital.
Attendees will be awarded 13.5 hours of Continuous Medical Education accreditation from Health Authority Abu Dhabi (H A A D). "The value of this conference is also highlighted by the fact that H A A D requires between 20 to 50 hours of continuing medical education courses, mostly within a time frame of one year, for license renewal, and a significant part of the C M E requirement can be obtained by attending this conference," added Prof. Dr. Fuchsjaeger

Prof. Dr. Christian Herold, MD who is the Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Medical University of Vienna. He is also Managing Director, Medical University of Vienna International. Prof. Dr. Herold will be chairing two sessions, one on Emergency Radiology and the other on Cancer Imaging.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ba-Ssalamah, Associate Professor of Radiology, Department of Radiology, Medical University of Vienna and General Hospital of Vienna (AKH) will chair the session on Gastrointestine / Liver Imaging.
Prof. Dr. Martin J. Breitenseher, Associate Professor of Radiology, Director of the Department of Radiology, Landesklinikum Waldviertel Horn Austria will chair a session on Cancer Imaging.
The panel of U A E based experts include :
Prof. Dr. Peter Corr, Professor of Radiology and Chairman of Department of Radiology, United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain who will moderate a session on Infections.
Dr. Ayman Saleh, Chairman of Clinical Imaging Department, Tawam Hospital, Al Ain who is presenting a paper titled : "Minimal Invasive Tumor Chemo-Embolization."
Prof. Dr. Klaus Neidl van Gorkom, Associate Professor of Radiology, Department of Radiology, United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, will chair a session on Masculo-skeletal Imaging.
