Saudi Arabia: Health Ministry to introduce e-service

By HUSSEIN HAZAZI JEDDAH: The Ministry of Health is launching a unified program to allow patients to follow up their transactions electronically, in the Kingdom and in health offices abroad, said Dr. Khaled Marghalani, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Director Public Relations.

The ministry has been working on a program linked to its unified network so patients in the Kingdom can check their transactions electronically, instead of visiting the ministry's offices.

The system has been designed so patients, especially those who seek treatment outside the Kingdom, can follow the processing of their papers and transactions while they are abroad, he added.
