UAE and Region's Top Dermatologists Participate in the Dubai Derma 2011 Pre-Courses Sessions
Dubai - United Arab Emirates, April 17th 2011: The Dubai Derma international accredited scientific pre-courses started last Friday with a remarkable schedule that contains twelve specialized sessions highlighting the Basic and Clinical Review of Phototherapy and Laser, Clinical Dermatology, Panniculitis, Cataneus Manifestation of Chemotherapy, Clinical Grilling Session, Surgical Gems and Pearls of Wisdom, Pearls in Clinicopathologic Correlation, Autoimmune, Basic Phototherapy and Laser Review and other specialized topics.
Through the scientific pre courses sessions -which are held four days prior to Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition, delegates and participants will be able to prepare for the Arab-Board of Dermatology Exam, which will be held in May 2011. More than 7 renowned speakers from the UAE and the region will present their latest researches in the practice, which is an excellent opportunity for participants to gain the continuing medical education, while the University of UAE will be offering 27 accredited hours for participants of this session.
Dr. Asem Farag from Egypt, Dr. Abdul Ghani Kibbi from Lebanon, Dr. Hassan Galadari from UAE and other prominent doctors delivered their lectures during the first and second day. "The four days pre conference sessions aim to help students to prepare for their Arab Board of Dermatology Exam which will be held next month in Syria. We are happy to have so many prominent doctors within the speakers this year from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates." said Dr. Hasan Galadari, Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of the UAE, Consultant at the Twam Hospital.
Dubai DERMA 2011
The Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibitions (Dubai DERMA) will commence next Tuesday, April 19th for three days at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. More than 80 speakers from 50 countries are participating in Dubai DERMA 2011, which is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Dubai Health Authority.
Dubai Derma is an annual event that covers topics such as skin tightening, body contouring and the latest in cosmetic dermatology and more through a scientific Conference program and multiple cutting edge workshops. Dubai Derma is organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. - member of INDEX Holding, in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority. This annual event is dedicated to dermatology, skin care, and skin lasers & anti-aging under the motto: "Skin Health is our Concern".
From his side, Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, President of INDEX Holding and Executive Chairman of Dubai Derma assured that the Dubai DERMA conference and exhibition has marked itself in the region and the Middle East, and is attended by world-renowned dermatologists to benefit from the workshops and the scientific courses held during the conference. He also revealed that the number of exhibitors for this year is more than 200 from 50 countries. Al Madani stated that Dubai DERMA is expecting more than 5000 participants and trade visitors this year.
