GE Spotlights Cleaner, Smarter, More Efficient Energy Solutions at Dubai Global Energy Forum

Speakers will present an overview of GE 's smart grid technologies, electric vehicles and GE 's Jenbacher engines that generate electricity from landfill gases

Complements the sustainable development initiatives of the region

Dubai, UAE; April 16, 2011: To drive the sustainable development initiatives of the region, GE (NYSE: GE ) is putting the spotlight on smart grid technologies and innovative solutions that help generate electricity from landfill gases at the Dubai Global Energy Forum, to be held from April 17 - 19 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Forum aims to provide a platform for over 500 global and regional energy leaders and experts to exchange views on emerging regional and global issues related to energy policies, programs and technologies.
