Total Liban introduces TOTAL Effimax, the new generation of fuel

Total Liban leads the way by launching TOTAL Effimax, the new generation of fuel with advanced additives.

TOTAL Effimax is the result of TOTAL 's advanced technology allowing every driver of any vehicle using unleaded gasoline to drive more without any price increase.
Beirut, April 2011 - On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Total Liban, the only international major oil company present in the market, announced in a press conference held at Moevenpick Hotel & Resort, Beirut, that, in the coming few days, TOTAL Effimax will be available in its 180 gas stations operating all over the Lebanese territory.

TOTAL Effimax is a new exclusive formulation of fuel created by TOTAL 's technological research. This innovative gasoline contains a combination of additives which aims at improving the benefits of the fuel in the car's engine. It was developed in TOTAL 's French research center, at the cutting edge of oil specialties technology and carefully tested on all types of vehicles.

TOTAL Effimax, the very first fuel of the kind to be introduced in Lebanon, perfectly fits all types of gasoline engines.

The Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water approved and recognized this innovative product. Further, the central laboratory at the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water has certified that the new fuel TOTAL Effimax complies with the technical specifications in force in Lebanon.

TOTAL Effimax reduces costs
Thanks to its components the TOTAL formula improves combustion properties of fuels and gives them better performance. TOTAL Effimax reduces the fuel consumption and maintenance costs of the vehicle.

TOTAL Effimax fights against corrosion and improves detergency
The additivation is a fully synthetic and multifunctional package specially designed to remove existing injector deposits, keep the injector nozzles clean and protect the fuel system against corrosion. TOTAL Effimax guarantees a prolonged life to the cars' engine and a better drivability.

The additives keep the engine cleaner thus significantly reduces polluting emissions as well as the accelerating noise. TOTAL Effimax is cleaner for the environment.
