INSEAD Dean Dr. Dipak C. Jain Visits Lebanon; Meets with Prime Minister Designate, Delivers Lecture
Discussions held on establishing joint programs in Lebanon; lecture draws over 150 business leaders to discuss entrepreneurial ventures in the current economic environment
"The meeting with Prime Minister designate Mikati was a pleasant one," Jain told a reporter later; "It was like somebody opening the door for you and saying 'this is not the only meeting we are going to have'."
Lebanese students number in the top five nationalities admitted at INSEAD; there has been a Lebanese student in every single MBA class since 1961, when the first student graduated. Though the discussion with the Prime Minister-designate did not include plans to open an INSEAD campus in Beirut, the meeting did focus on various ways to start creating an educational and training association between the business school for the world and Lebanon.
Economic and geopolitical uncertainties have become so entrenched in today's everyday life that it is time business and economic planning become unconstrained, said the Dean of INSEAD, Dr. Dipak Jain.
Dr. Marina Hajj, President of the INSEAD Alumni Association Lebanon, presided over the event, which included an introduction to INSEAD's Executive MBA by Laith Dajani, Assistant Director Marketing EMBA.

" Economic and geopolitical uncertainties have become so entrenched in today's everyday life that it is time business and economic planning become unconstrained, said the Dean of INSEAD, Dr. Dipak Jain."
How very true, Dr. Jain. I wish our educated youth in Lebanon, understand, absorb and adopt the principles that you have enunciated in your lecture.
I would like to be given the opportunity to exchange with Mr. Joe Chedid some ideas on these subjects. Perhaps you may transmit this message to him.
Sincerely
