Offshore Arabia Honors Key Individuals in Environmental Field
Dubai - United Arab Emirates, March 29th 2011: Offshore Arabia Conference and exhibition had commenced its second day at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, covering different remarkable topics such as; UNEP strategy to address eco system management, sustainability and maritime industry, and conservation of Kuwait marine environment and opportunities for renewable energy in the Middle East.
The organizers of offshore Arabia had recognized and rewarded key individuals' contribution in environmental projects in a ceremony held on the first day of the Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition. Categories and projects were announced as follows;
Best Practices in Excellence in Environmental Projects & Products, for the Paper 'A Pilot Study of the Performance of Enhanced Stage II Vapor Recovery Systems in Gasoline Stations in Kuwait' was handed to Mr. Fahad Al- Diahany from Kuwait National Petroleum Company.
Best Practices in Excellence in Environmental Projects & Products, for the Paper 'Environmental Awareness Projects' and Best Practices in Excellence in Environmental Applications for the Paper 'Environment Friendly Surface Blasting and Painting at National Petroleum Construction Company' was handed to Capt. Mohammed Al-Basry from Kuwait Oil Company.
Best Practices in Environmental Projects & Products, for the paper 'Environmental Finance & Low Carbon Economy' was achieved by Dubai Carbon Center of Excellence (DCCE).
