Dow to Showcase Solutions for Natural Gas at SOGAT 2011
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - March 22, 2011 - Dow Oil & Gas, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company , will be showcasing a range of innovative, customized solutions for the oil and gas industry at the 2011 Sour Oil & Gas Advanced Technology (SOGAT) exhibition. The conference, sponsored in part by Dow Oil & Gas, will be held March 27-31 at the Hilton Abu Dhabi.
Dow Oil & Gas will be at the core of industry discussions at the event, presenting two technical papers during the CO2 Forum on March 31. Craig Schubert, Dow Oil & Gas Research Leader, will present a paper on "Pilot Plant Scale Capture of CO2 from Boiler Flue Gas", while Bruce DeBolt, Associate Director of New Business Development for Dow Oil & Gas, will present on "New CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery Conformance Solution - Technology Development and Field Trials." Together with UOP, Dow Oil & Gas will also host a workshop on SELEXOL™ Solvent technology.
