Local brands to lead franchising in Middle East
International franchising consultancy sees huge potential for home grown brands looking to branch out"The future is great for the regional franchising industry as it is a growing industry. The demand and growth is consistent and there is awareness of the benefits of franchising in the Middle East. There is a lot of scope for home grown brands to go international," said Chirine Ajami, Senior Consultant & Director for FranCorp ME.
FranCorp, exhibiting and leading the educational programme at this month's Franchising Middle East (FME) exhibition in Dubai, has provided franchising consultancy services for more than 30 years. Based in the US, Francorp has advised more than 8,000 companies and developed over 1,000 successful franchises.
Within the Middle East, FranCorp is currently working with a number of entrepreneurs operating in various industries - from hospitality to retail and healthcare - all looking to take their brands international. FranCorp's participation in this year's FME will be instrumental in this, with the consultancy bringing ten brands to the show.
FranCorp will also be hosting a seminar entitled 'Franchising: The Art of Reproduction' at the FME exhibition. The seminar will tackle the realities of franchising, how to raise capital, structuring a franchise and operational issues.
"FranCorp is one of the leading franchising consultancies worldwide and we are proud of their continued support of the Franchising Middle East exhibition. The FranCorp seminar is a real value-add to the show and will provide insight into this successful business solution for both exhibitors and visitors alike," said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, Chairman of International Expo-Consults (IEC), the organiser of FME.
FME is the largest international franchise exhibition in the Middle East and is supported by the IFA (International Franchise Association). The exhibition facilitates direct communication between entrepreneurs and potential franchise buyers from the region and beyond. For more information visit www.franchisingme.com
