German scholarships for health officials
By By MD RASOOLDEEN RIYADH: Germany will grant 130 scholarships to officials working in the Ministry of Health to study in universities in Berlin."The offer for scholarships was made by the visiting Mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit during a meeting with Health Minister Abdullah Al-Rabeeah on Sunday," said Dr. Khaled Al-Mirghalani, the ministry's spokesman.
The officials will pursue their relevant studies at The Charité-Universitätsmedizin and Vivantes Network for Health GmbH in Berlin.
During the meeting, Klaus Wowereit expressed his strong desire to strengthen relations between German universities and medical companies and the Ministry of Health.
The Charité-Universitätsmedizin is a large public institution with a yearly turnover of 1 billion euros.
