Royal directives to help Jordanians return from Egypt

Amman - In implementation of directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Royal Jordanian will start as of Tuesday ferrying Jordanian citizens stranded at Cairo and Alexandria airports at the King's expense.

This royal gesture comes to ease the suffering of citizens in Egypt, because of the political unrest in Egypt. The flag carrier earlier increased its daily flights to Cairo to six, operating larger jets to fly home more Jordanians.

RJ reiterated that its employees at Cairo airport are exerting their utmost in cooperation with the Jordanian Embassy in Cairo to bring as many citizens as possible, despite challenges they face.

The national carrier called on Jordanians residing in Egypt and wishing to return home to head for Cairo International Airport, even if they do not have prior reservations.
