UAE Logos enters Guinness World Records for Most Brands on a Billboard
Dubai - January 23, 2011 - As a follow up to their amazing achievement of accumulating the highest number of brands on a billboard with 1233 logos, Discovery Exhibition Organizers (DEO) has been awarded by Guinness World Records (GWR) for their commendable feat. Following a thorough adjudication process, DEO received the official certificate from GWR in the midst of a public ceremony at Dubai Festival City .
Adam Wide, Creative Director, Guinness World Records presented the certificate to DEO after conducting the adjudication process personally.
DEO, through this world record setting feat also managed to gather support for two noble charities while commemorating the organizations that contributed to the initiative.
""Guinness World Records has a long and proud association with Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, and is always delighted to honour and acknowledge yet another world first - or world superlative. What makes DEO's record attempt so particularly meaningful is that 1,233 companies have co-operated on a project on a massive scale to give something back to the community. This is both inspiring and heart-warming and reflects yet another example of man's universal quest to make the world a better place," said Adam Wide, Global Creative Director, Guinness World Records.
