Tawdheef 2011 makes Emiratisation a top priority

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Emirati job-seekers will now have an unparalleled opportunity to meet leading employers at Tawdheef 2011, as Emiratisation has been named a top priority for many of the governmental, semi-governmental departments and private sector companies exhibiting in the recruitment show. The highly focused Emiratization drive will play an important role in the Government's efforts to strengthen UAE National workforce in a meaningful and efficient manner.

The fifth edition of Tawdheef covers recruitment in sectors such as, banking and finance, oil and gas, hospitality, construction, government service sector, military, telecommunications, and aviation.

Rotana Hotel Management Corporation's participation in Tawdheef 2011 complements its Duroob initiative, a fast track development program designed to provide young nationals with the necessary training, and work experience in the hospitality industry. Dr. Olga Kampaxi, Area Director, Human Resources, Rotana Hotels, UAE said: "Our engagement  in this show reflects the vision of our Chairman, Mr. Nasser Al Nowais who always said: "There are no better people to run the tourism industry in the UAE than the nationals themselves, they know our country and they can see the potential of growing with it."

Kampaxi added, "In addition to the vacancies valid as of this month, which predominantly refers to our existing operating properties, there are two more upcoming openings in UAE; one in Central Airport Road, Abu Dhabi and one in Al Ghurair City, Dubai, which will offer more than 600 employment opportunities to eligible candidates. Opportunities also exist in departments such as finance, human resources, sales and marketing for candidates from other disciplines to enter the industry and grow with us."

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank will maintain their steady strides in the realization of Emiratization Strategic Plan at Tawdheef 2011. The bank has been receiving the Best Emiratisation Award for the last four years with current Emiratisation rate of 36%. Sultan Al Mahmood, Head of Human Resources Department, ADCB, said: "Our participation in Tawdheef falls within the implementation of our ambitious recruiting plan for the U.A.E. nationals. We have specialised training programs to capture rising talents for the vacancies that exist in ADCB, and nurture them into the leaders of tomorrow."

UAE Air Force and Air Defence will be offering UAE youth, male and female, the freedom of selection from several fields and work specialties that suit and satisfy their ambitions and educational aspirations in a distinctive and competitive work environment.

Organized by Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council and Turret Media, Tawdheef 2011 will be held at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, from January 25 to 27, 2011.
