Chartis Announces Appointments for Emerging Markets Division
Madrid, Spain - January 19, 2011 - Chartis today announced appointments to its Emerging Markets team, as it continues to provide effectively different value-added marketing, distribution, underwriting, financial and product support to all developing markets globally.Julio A. Portalatin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Markets, said, "I look forward to the valuable contributions of our newest team members as they help reinforce our efforts with respect to strategic expansion initiatives in Tier 1 countries; product, distribution and service solutions that will differentiate us from competitors; and investment and acquisition opportunities in key markets. Each of these professionals will be instrumental as we continue to pursue our plans for accelerated growth."
The following executives will assume new positions based in Madrid:
Fabrice Domange has been named Senior Vice President and Finance Director, Emerging Markets, responsible for strategic financial planning and analysis within the organization. He was previously Chief Financial Officer for Europe and Middle and East Africa for Checkpoint Systems, where he oversaw 18 countries across the region. Earlier, Mr. Domange held several positions within General Electric , including GE Healthcare and GE Capital Solutions. Mr. Domange holds a Masters Degree in Finance & Management from Institute Superior European de Gestion (ISEG Group) in France and a Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
Gabriel Lazaro has been named Digital Marketing Manager, Emerging Markets, responsible for directing the development and implementation of internet and mobile strategic marketing plans. He has
over 12 years of marketing and sales experience, and has held roles of increasing responsibility at organizations such as TEMA, Zed Group Company and Fox Mobile Group. Mr. Lazaro holds a marketing degree from Sapienza University in Rome, a degree in social psychology from the Complutence University of Madrid, and a Masters Degree in sales and marketing from ESIC Business.
